Somerset
TA1 4AB
England

Attached is the route of the ride.

Donations will go to Warren's charity...

Ireland Annual Meet 2015
Aug 07, 2014 - 4:05 PM - by Hatcho
Hatcho's Avatar Right folks,

Myself and Stephv have been tasked with organising the 2015 meet on our lovely green island. So here are the basic details for now. We'll spend the next while sorting out rideout routes and put together a few fun days on the bikes for you all. Needless to say there will also be plenty of beers, lots of good grub and tons of laughs all woven into the weekend too!

Dates:
Friday 28th August 2015 to Monday 31st August 2015
But you are of course welcome to stay longer to do some touring round the Emerald Isle if you wish...

Itinerary:
Friday - Arrive Ireland and settle into accommodation
Saturday - Full day rideout with good roads and a few sights to see
Sunday - Full day rideout with more of the same
Monday - Return to UK and head for home

Location:
Laragh, Co. Wicklow, Ireland - http://goo.gl/maps/lSxgA

Accommodation:
One person alone will be €50 per room per night
Two people sharing (eg. couple/two mates) will be €75 per room per night
Three people sharing (eg. three mates) will be €105 per room per night
Above includes breakfast each morning in the Wicklow Heather restaurant.
The accommodation is spread across two locations in Laragh village - one is a set of 3 bed lodges - and the other is a B&B called Trooperstown Wood Lodge (just a mile or two outside the village) - There is a minibus service which will transport anyone in the lodge into the town of Laragh.

I have stayed here before and it's top notch with excellent rooms and very friendly staff. The owners also have a restaurant in Laragh called the Wicklow Heather which is one of my favourites and a popular lunch stop for bikers on a sunny Sunday. They won't take any bookings until around December 2014 so we'll need to remember to get the reservations in around then. I've given them my name so when you do go to book mention it's a biker group and give my name, Seán Clissmann, as a reference to the booking.

Ferry:
Two options are to cross on the Holyhead to Dublin route or the Fishguard to Rosslare route.
Laragh village is easily reachable from both and myself or Stephv will happily meet ye off the boat for the spin to Laragh. Current return prices on both routes for 2014 are:
For a bike and one adult - £100
For a bike and two adults - £160
For our Scottish brethren, Cairnryan to Belfast is the best bet and its about 3 hours spin to Laragh from Belfast on the motorway.
For a bike and one adult - £80
For a bike and two adults - £138

Anyone has any questions - please post 'em up and I'll do my best to answer.

Cheers,
Seán (aka Hatcho)

Bish's Avatar We have a great resource here in this site. However it is becoming increasingly difficult to manage the information with new threads being started for questions that have already been answered.

You can help keep this resource clear and easy to use by posting sensibly and searching for existing threads.

If you have a question or can't find what you're looking for please take a look at the site help links first.

If you are still unable to find the information you are looking for then make a new post.

Support your site and buy some SV Portal gear

I can also add any wording or member names to any clothing by doing one off custom prints. Just send me a private message with details and I can setup the shirt for you to buy directly from the store.

So go to our CafePress store to order your apparel, coffee mugs, hats, bags and stickers.

All money made from these sales goes towards the running costs of this site.
