Brake Hoses

Greetings All,

I've searched numerous threads and Google'd around the 'net quite a bit... and I can't find rubber brake lines. Everything is about braided steel lines. I went to check the prices on OEMs from Babbitts and they are discontinued.

So my question is: Do you have to pay $150 to go braided steel front and rear, or is there some other option that I'm missing?

I'm long overdue to change the fluid. I'm installing a new front reservoir, since mine cracked off just above the mounting point. And since my bike is 12 years old, I figure changing the lines whether they look good or not is probably not a bad idea.

I suspect new OEM hoses would cost at least that much.

There's a Galfer front line kit for $89 on ebay, I wouldn't be worried about the rear as much.
