Superbike School (http://www.superbikeschool.com/) is coming to the pocono raceway the week of 8-22 - 8-26. I would like to check it out. its $395 plus $20 to time the laps. If anyone is interested post here so we can go the same day, I know its early but they get booked once it starts to warm up.

They'll also be the in may but it can be cold and tires don't like that.

I might be interested. I will have to check out and see what the exact offering is. I plan to do Penguin in May, but Loudon is such a tight track, that the poconos might be nice as well.

BARF!!!

Pocono blows ass. Not very motorcycle friendly anymore. I'd like to do the school, but not there.

Loudon is a tight track - that is where I race. The track is very technical and will work your ass off.

Loudon is too tight... One of the reasons the AMA won't come back.

i thought the AMA wouldn't come back because of the dangerous walls that are waaaaaaaaaaay too close to the track, i.e., no runoff.

Loudon does have a tight track and the wall in the twisties are way too close now I understand they are addressing run off and trying to get back their AMA races but I don't see it happening this year.

Alex.....i see you're giddy to ride! :) join nysportbikeclub.com.......it's not expensive( about half the cost of superbike school) however there is no real intensive instruction which is both good and bad. i guess it depends on what you are looking to accomplish. i tell you it's great for haing tons of track time in an non-competitive, friendly enviorment.

T-NYC, I'm interested but can't commit yet. I'm flying back in from Japan on the 20th as of right now. I know of one other guy who might also be interested. I'll ask him and get back to you. If all works out I'll be there but my schedule is fooked up.

I might be interested. Have to get some riding time under my belt this season before I jump on a track day.
