Hey boys thanks.
Going honeymooning on SV. Leaving this morning to go through the Sunshine Coast hinterland on down to Byron Bay for a squizz.
Guess what? It starts raining this morning
But my bride being the legend that she is insists we still ride. :niceone:
That's why I love her.

Congratulations to you both, I'm now into my second year of marital bliss and loving it. As for having women who are into the biking theme, just speak to any of the lads that came on the Poole meet on 2 September, they'll tell you about family biking...infact just look at the pictures, those are my step-kids, who are as mad about speed as I am!!!

One week later and I'm still married!!! (Don't laugh, that's longer than some of my relationships have lasted :P )
The trip went well. Almost 2,000kms of riding two-up, sore bums on last day! Took in Fraser Island for a dinner cruise from the mainland, followed by a night at Montville. From there we rode down to Byron Bay. What a sight, saw a guy in a Sigma stationwagon drive through the centre of town with 2 or 3 Marijuaqna plants in the back of his car, ther for all to see :o .
We were lucky enough to see whales and dolphins performing from Cape Byron , it was truly spectacular. We then turned back north and went back to Brisbane to spend a night with friends. Next day saw us check out Australia Zoo near Beerwah. This is Steve Irwin the crocodile hunter's set up and allthough he wasn't there, it was an excellent day out. Joh and I were the only couple without kids who were feeding the baby animals. We then went back to Montville for the night and returned home the back way. If you get a chance, ride from Maleny to Kenilworth via Conondale (home of the thumpernats). This has got to be the best road I have ridden. Only this time two-up. After having a new rear Pirelli Diablo fitted in Nerang at Top Gun Honda the tell tale wear marks indicate that through this section of road we left only about 8-10mm of rubber untouched and the bike handle this with aplomb. If you live near Brisbane check out Top Gun Honda at Nerang as they now sell all their tyres at cost price in order to attract customers who will eventually buy other stuuf from them. Incidently I got 6000kms out of the original real Pilot Sport and the new Diablo has covered 1000 kms of two-up riding without flattening off a bit. It cost $225.00 fitted!!!
Better go see the Wifey.
Thanks for the congrats

....Oh, you mean ones that he may have taken of the scenery/roads/biking, not the ones of his wife in the Bedroom!!

OK, in Italy (mainly South) they expect the honeymoon couple to hang their sheets up in the town square after their first married night together. The locals then "inspect" the sheets to check for various bodily fluid stains and check the marriage has been consecrated. Admitedly they do paint the sheets red nowadays but image that.... :o
