Like most people I will probably get the silver version.

i like the silver but it is a bit much a lot of silver going on, i do like the blue but i am not one to stay with a stock paint scheme, i would pay someone and have it customized

I have the Copper one and pics on the internet dont do it justice. Just my opinion!

I have the Blue, just removed the rear fender, looks the dogs b*****, I highly recommend this mod the lines of the seat unit look really good.

;) I have always liked black. Would lose the rear guard,add a hugger.order a half fairing & belly pan & paint these black to match the rest. Wheels would be repainted in gold. Frame would get highly polished.
Add 1 set two bros pipes & rejet.

end result yeeeeee haaaaa ...

Come on Suzuki this is how it should be sold of the showroom floor.

I like the silver on my wifes SV650, its sharp. It looks even better now she has the lowers installed. I think that's whats missing on the 1000, if it had factory lowers it would look sweet. Just my 2 cents.

I originally liked the look of copper but after seeing one in the flesh (actually I rode it too), I actually prefered the look of the blue. But... I don't want an "S" after having a 2001 GSXR1000 I have decided to go naked. They are still a couple of months away (in NZ) so I am going to say to the dealer, just give me the first non Silver (I don't like the Silver) naked!

Well I put my money where my mouth is and handed $1000 to my Suzuki dealer for their first Black SV1000. Unfortunately it isn't due till July 22, just as well it's winter here!

I wish the SVS came in black. The juxtaposition of the black paint and silver frame is SOOOOOOO SEXY! But, since the S model is NOT offered in black, I'll have to settle for silver. Or maybe I'll buy a black Nekkid and a Givi screen. Or maybe, by the time I can afford one (a year from now or so), the S model will be offered in black. We'll see.

I like the black, but its got be the S verson. Why don't Suzuki do the Race colors, on the SV100S- Blue and white. Seen the Crescent Suzuki 1.

At first I liked the copper colour because in all the pics it looks orange. :wub: but then when I saw it at the dealers :shock: its BROWN :blink: Anyways I ended up with the silver but the copper has grown on me a little. Not as sweet as the silver though :Punk: Maybe a trip to the sprayshop when I can afford it, then I'll have my sexy metallic orange beast B)

Just the reason why myself and 4 other mates decided that the Silver wasn't the one to get. Have to admit that if the Blue had been offered here in OZ, that would have been my perfered choice BUT I still think the Copper has a certain "second look, and admire" appeal to it. The silver is just plain boring. :whistle:

You should take "Boris's" outlook on colours (AMCN) with a grain of salt, he is clearly colour blind. I've had mine for 6 months now, and it doesn't matter what light I view it in, Its not brown!!!!
Check the "skid marks" in your undies. Thats BROWN :rolleyes:

It seem's to me that Black seems to be the fav colour for the S version. And i've got to admit but i could fancy a Black one too, But i whent for Blue Cos it's Faster.
Too many Silver one's and the copper look's poo.

Too many silver ones? I have yet to see ONE other SV1000S in over 5000 miles. It doesn't matter what color you have, it is still a very rare bike...unless you walk into a dealer. :(

2 Silver SV1000S. This lad i know has got a Silver one. Have been trying to get him to come on the site for age's.

2 Blue SV1000S. One of them being mine

1 Copper SV1000S. Worskeletor how is on this site.

1 Silver SV650S SK3

1 Blue SV650S SK3

1 Copper SV650N SK3.

But yes you are right. The SV is a rare bike compared to other bike's.

Haha Scotty, you read that aswell. As I said, the brown :oops: copper colour is growing on me, but I was just so disapointed when I saw that the lovely orange colour was really more a shade of brown. I would have definetly considered the blue, even though the silver is supposed to be faster :whistle:

Just stopped at a Suzuki dealer in Brunswick, GA and they had three SVS on the floor with the new Suzuki full lower fairing. Makes the bikes look a lot like a GSXR.

They run about $400.00 with factory match paint.

I think the GSX colours look OK if that's what you're after. Personally I'm not but the black front guard (fender) and belly pan look good. Combine them with a black hugger and I think it would look cool.

What a coincidence, just came in from painting my belly pan black. I'm hoping you're right and it will look good on my sliver SVS along with the black front fender, black rear hugger, black OZ wheels and the black ceramic coating I'm getting put on the exhaust system. Should know in a couple weeks when the bike's put back together.

This won't help at all but I think they all look pretty nice, the blue looks lovely and I have to say the copper does look very striking in the flesh although all that said I went for the silver one for two reasons. Firstly in my opinion the silver paint scheme hides scratches better than any other and secondly for me personally the silver gave the bike a more aggressive techno-appeal, it looks very alive and robotic which kind of appealed to my sci-fi side. On thinking about it I think the 03/04 colour schemes are definitely better than the 2005 offerings, the all black looks pretty cool but the red one's a shocker, it just looks like a giant nosebleed.
