I'll give it a whirl - lived there for 4-years and used to be fairly fluent.
Available immediately for the SV-1000 is an underseat system from Joachim's. The exhaust system is polished stainless and is TUV approved (I think). It includes mounting hardware, turn signals and license plate holder with illumination. The exhaust system is available exclusively from Joachim's. It is available at Joachim's on-line store where lots of other parts can be found.
Looks pretty cool - in a kind of BMW R1100S German style.....

This is a direct translation but the other guy put it in our English speaking ways. Go to www.google.com and install there toolbar. It is an awesome thing, plus it will instantly translate any page for you and re-present the page, same format, pics everything only the words are in english. It's really cool. Plus, from the toolbar you can search at anytime anywhere. Google is the best engine out there.

I don't like the way the exhaust runs over the outside of the swingarm - looks very strange and a recipe for burns victims. Just an observation.

Just for Info... Tuv is one of the most drastic technical certification in europe. I can remember, my father replaced wheels on his Bmw 535i, for some aluminum "none-tuv" certified models. Every year, all german cars must pass this certification in a test center, and they have obliged him to fitt the stock wheels...
not easy in europe...

I Know the feeling. I'm located in Belgium and I have the same problem. I own a car with 18" rims and some other mods.
The first 4 years (if it's new) it's no problem but after that You have to go to a technical control every year.
For me it means placing original rims, suspension and a whole lot of other things.
There talking about introducing the same thing for Motorbikes.
The germans are lucky, they can mount other rims and things and go to the techical control as long as they are TUV certified. We don't have this (everything that isn't original is forbidden by law)
This means that Insurance doesn't pay anything when you get an accident with such mods on your vehicle. Even when by example you have better brakes than original !!!

They are now talking about fitting anti-removal devices to bikes to prevent the fitting of illegal aftermarket parts in the UK. This has already happened to a certain degree with the scooter/moped devices as this is where the young riders abuse the laws the most. There will also be law introduced to make the fitting of any parts that modify the bike illegal including screens, pegs, wheels etc.
Beaurocracy at its best - I think not.
