Red SV1k

Anyone have any photoshopped or real images of what the 1k looks like in a nice bright red. I originally wanted to do yellow but there are to many shades to choose from and started getting out of hand to choose. Now I am thinking red or blue. Need something that once you give it a nice coat of wax really jumps out and says WOW.

there are just as many shades of red as there are yellow...if not more !

Here is one that someone did for me. Gives an idea of what it would look like. Not to bad :niceone: Not sure whos bike it is but I believe it came from this site. If it is yours please dont take offense just a pic that I found on my hard drive that looked good and clear.

That red is a beautiful colour and responds awesomely to a polish and performs well in sunlight. These pics are only done on crappy camera in dull light but it gives you an idea.

The way to go is to paint a base coat of silver over your undercoat, apply a few coats of candy apple red (until the desired effect is acheived) and then applying 5 - 7 clear coats for depth.

I know it doesn't look like it but the 750 is a red that is a little deeper than the red sv pic. You can see how shadows and angles effect the shade and depth of the colour.

This bike has a little crash damage and I am thinking of repairing and repainting either candy apple red blue of purple.

If you want to be tricky, you can paint a design in a darker silver before you add the candy apple coats. Say the SV logo or SUZUKI emblem, it would still be red or whatever colour the rest of the bike is but it appears a little darker and looks "the dogs...." as they say.
