I'm debating between buying a 1k or 650. I really prefer the symmetrical look of the dual exhaust 1k but prefer the cost of the 650 more. So, I was wondering if there is an aftermarket 650 dual exhaust available out there?

If there is it'll probably cost as much as the difference between the 650 and 1k.

I'll be upgrading the exhaust regardless of which one I get so the 650 cost advantge is back in.

Their site sad about 900 euros which is about $1100. Seems a little steep when a full Yosh system can be had for under $800. Thanks for then info though.

Renegades twin high level dual exhausts are what I would've bought if I had $900 just laying around. They sound and look great, and Rene owners that I've talked to have only good things to say about them.

Now thats what I'm talking about. Very nice looking undertail mod. I just couldn't tell if they sell them for '04 or '05 SV's.

For the new 650's you have a couple of options:

- The Ixil 2-in-2 slip-on exhaust
- The BSM 2-in-2 full system
- The GPR 2-in-2 slip-on exhaust
- The Renegade 2-in-2 slip-on exhaust

Perhaps there are more. You can also have your own 2-in-2 exhaust made of course.

Mate I think you need to consider a lot more than just the exhausts. Think about insurance. Where you're gonna ride it. Do you need the extra power and top speed? I don't know how many (if any) bikes you've had before but my 650S is my first ever and I'm more than happy with it. I've read time and time again that even very experienced riders can get a lot out of the 650. Had a CBR racer I met at a party telling me how good they are! I love mine. I wouldn't even consider the 1K for a few years. Just don't need it. Don't forget that the 1K needs TWO exhausts as well.

Hope I have been of some help.

He's coming from a totalled ZZR1200. He can handle a SV1000 I think. :msn-wink:

If you are on the fence go for the 1000. More torque more horsepower. You can never have too much.
