Is anyone going to Brands Hatch on their SV this weekend?

I'm going down on my Silver SV1000S, and one of my mates will be on his Blue SV1000S.

We've got seats in the Paddock Hill Grandstand.

I'm hoping to score a few bargains in some of the accessory tents. :niceone:

Just thought it might be good to meet up with a few of you. :Punk:

Can't make it, going to the BMF Tail End show at the East Of England Showground, hopefully get some bargains there.

Like the sound of bargains at BMF, but not as much as Ducatis going round the Indy circuit at full chat!!! (w00t)

Good roads, both places!! Watch out for the higher passes in Colorado...they could get snow this time of year  Yes, you still will be able to find a pint in Salt Lake City...just not on every corner

Err yeah... snow.

Hired a Harley (when in Rome...)
Set out in jeans and t-shirt temp was near 100F
Took 6 west out of Denver then the 119 past Blackhawk and on up to Estes (I forget the route number). The Stanley Hotel in Estes is where they filmed The Shining with Jack Nicholson.

Nice places en-route, found the locals at each and every stop very friendly and welcoming.

From Estes we rode over the Rockies on the Trail Ridge Road. Damn that was cold,
came down the other side just before nightfall and stoped over in Grand Lake.

Next day it was raining when we woke up. This turned to sleet/hail then light snow.
Temp was barely above freezing...

Got geared up in what weather gear we had (fleeces and goretex walking gear) had
to buy some waterproof trousers to get back from the other end of town after brekkie it was raining so hard.

Riding with hands in plastic bags to keep the wind off was fun also...

By the time we got down to Fraiser it had cleared but the news reports we saw while warming up over a number of coffees told of heavy snow fall on I-70 Vail pass and the Eisenhower tunnel area as being among the worst hit areas with a couple fo feet of snow.

We rode down to Idaho Springs and took the 6 back into denver.
A very nice route, would've loved to do that on the SV =+)

Just got back from hooning about Utah in a jeep. Thats some damn fine country side out there.
These canyons are huge, words simply fail to describe how beautiful how quiet and peaceful the whole area is. Did I mention also how BIG everything is out there?

Took loads of pics. Will post some when I get back to the real world.

Cheers
