:lol: A lot of these new bike posts sound a like....
I picked up my new Copper sv1000s yesterday afternoon. I've put about 50 miles on it and man does it feel great! My riding buddy decided to buy an 03 gsxr 600, which is also awesome - but he found that he likes the power delivery of the twin better - more down low. It wheelies a looot better!
I got a screaming deal on the bike. I got it OTD for $7200. The bike was $6500. It was cheap because there was a small rub on the frame from shipping so Suzuki let them sell it super cheap. It's not a scratch, just a rub. I've already buffed it out and it can't be seen. Imagine taking your fingernail and pushing it into your palm on the other hand - the mark it leaves is about what it looked like. Twas a sweet deal.
The bike really adds to my stable - I've got a DRZ and a KTM - now the SV. The last street bike I had was an FZR600 - this one is soooo much better.
