i thought it caused major problems to do long wheelies on an sv. something about the oil can't get into the motor in the wheelie position? any validity to that rumor?

Not sure about the SV, but my friend trashed his 2000 GSXR750 doing wheelies. He got all of about 12,000 miles out of it before it developed a stange knocking sound. He thought it was the cam chain tensioner and I said nope it's the crank. He took it in to the dealer and just like I told him his main bearings were gone. Not going bad, GONE. It was an expensive leason for him. I warned him about it for a year or more. He rarely does wheelies on his new bike now. And when he does they are short.

Yes there was a recall on the 99 SV for that reason - but once the recall has been done there is no problem with it.

O.k. My comments...
1) This WILL NOT bew my track bike... Note to self... Do not by Blue SV650 from NH for the track.
2) I thought only the Goldwings came with REVERSE?

ok good, no worries about that then. i was thinking since i have to do some remodeling to go ahead and put a 12 bar on it, and a cage, and just stunt it. what does everyone think?

I think stunters are great, just not on the freeway with other traffic.
