For those of you looking to buy one at a good price... go to Ebay Motors and type in sv1000 in the Suzuki search subheading. The dealer I got mine from (A&B Xtreme) is listing one at $7,450. There are no bids on it. They are in Bellaire, OH just across the border from Wheeling, WV. I drove 1000 miles (from NC) to pick mine up from them. My experience is this: Excellent service, no hidden fees, no setup, no bullshit. I paid $40 document fee over the Ebay bid price and out the door I went. Scott, the salesman even helped me load it into the truck. This is a good outfit to deal with and NO I have no connection with them. I've rarely (if ever) had a good experience with motorcycle dealers. Just thought I'd spread the word to my brethren about a good experience. :D

Got mine at Bell Suzuki in Lexington, KY. $7600 out the door. I called, they will honor that price to anyone on the board. Just talk to Matt in sales and tell Jon Jenkins referred you. They also can ship for very reasonable. Mine was shipped for about $220. They ship out over 250 bikes a year. They are great to work with and very knowledgable.

Anyone in the UK or Europe looking for an amazing deal on a SV1000S, check out this link:

http://www.motorcyclecity.co.uk/newbikes/r...ials.asp?page=1 (http://www.motorcyclecity.co.uk/newbikes/riossispecials.asp?page=1)

Riossi is in the process of announcing it's closure. It's parent group has been bought out and they're only selling five of the original branches. Sadly this won't include my home branch (5 minutes walk) which was also their top performing branch.

On the road for £5,495!!!

Where I'm located it's catalog price is 9899 Euro's (inc. taxes) and my dealer offered it tot me for 9300Euro's.

A Euro is about the same value then a USD. (for the moment it's a bit more :P )

For the moment I'm contacting some other dealers to try and get it cheaper than the 9300

Hey HungMother - wasn't this cheap bike pre-registered? All the same, great deal - just wish I had waiting a few weeks longer.

Thats the same price you can get anywhere, You have to remember when you go to Register you have to pay the taxes on it (whatever it is in your state). Thats why it seems so cheap at first. add 7.5 % tax on it in my area at the DMV. Still a decent deal but not worth traveling for.

Too bad this deal is like 2 years old also...another one of Kitkats' resurrections from post limbo.

i bought mine back in february at east bay motorsports in hayward, ca. got a rippin deal at 7100 out the door. then my buddy went in 3 weeks later and gave him the same deal. pretty good guys down there for the most part. was looking at other bikes too, but how could i pass up a deal like that. it has turned out to be the funest bike to ride i have ever owned. after riding this twin i dont think i could ever go back to just having an inline 4 again. :niceone:

makes me feel like i got ripped. :angry2: i didn't do any shopping because i liked (key word there, liked) my local shop so much. when i ordered it they said 7800 out the door. when i went to pick it up it was 8100. guess i got :buggerd:
when i took it for the 600 mile service, they had the balls to charge me for it. :pistols: makes me  i've bought three new bikes from them and spent thousands of dollars there and they don't seem to care. i'll buy my next bike somewhere else, i can guarantee you that. but i am glad you got such a great deal, that's excellent. :Punk:

Do you guys across the water have to pay for your first (500/600 miles) service?
All three of my bike that i have bought brand new have all had free first service, dont know if this is the same up and down the country?

When you say "new" is that an '05? I just made a deal for an '05 SVS for $7525 plus $75 for docs. Will have to go 600 miles to get it but that's just a good time to break it in. My local dealer wouldn't come down more that a couple hundred of list ($8599). I would like to support the local guys but their making it too hard.
