Just thought I'd post some photos of my GSXR that I've been ridin' since I sold the SV to Texas Bob.
'03, 600 w/ Jardine Carbon can, PC3, K&N. Then, a couple exterior thing.. Sliders front & rear, tinted double double shield, rear turn signal intergrator kit, Lockharte front blinkers, grips, seat aluminum chain guard & mud guard. Plus the new Corona/Alstare decal kit that I just installed tonight.. Thought I'd show it off to ya guys! ;) nittyp.

Very nice. :niceone: What you ride isn't as important as that you do ride.

Those are wicked colours - love em. One question though, why aren't you in the GSXR forum equivalent to this one or is it because there are no others like this?

...now there's an idea, fairing lowers then a full respray in either Rizla Suzuki, or Corona colours....Hmm, I wonder how much that would set me back?

yeah.. thanks for the comments.. I purchased it new a couple months ago.. Put my break-in miles on it and then started tinkering with it a little. I bought that color because it was different. Everyone here in Northern CA has the silver/black or yellow/black.

Girly colors? :shifty: Yeah.. I've heard that one before on the gixxer website.. I've also heard newbie squid colors! <_<

Once I saw that Corona/Alstare decal kit, I had to have it!

I posted my new bike here on the SV forum, because I think this forum is the tops! My favorite for sure..Thought the Suzuki fans here would enjoy it.. I haven't seen another yet with this exact decal kit, which is dead on the real race bike....Wierd, I guess, since I sold the SV, but there is cool people here and lots of knowledge. :)

Talk to ya. nittyp :niceone:

Those are factory colors. At the beginning of the year you had to pay extra for the "40th anniversary' scheme. But now that they have suffered the same fate as the copper SVs and the copper Hayabusas, dealers have reduced them to get rid of them.

yeah mush... Up here in Northern CA, you can get a GSXR 600 or 750 (2003) at a great price. 1000's are still high..
You can get an awesome deal right now on a lot of '03's..
A lot of dealers out here didn't move enough stock (all manufactures) this year too..Opening up some good deals all across the board.
I wish I could ride two at once! I'd buy another!

Glad to hear you still like our humble forum with just the SV1000 to talk about - so there have been absolutely no regrets whatsoever moving from the SV? Is there absolutely nothing that you miss about the bike?
