This is one of my favorite roads in the Los Angeles metro area.
I think it has more turns per mile than about any other, except Tuna canyon in the Santa Monica Mountains. But it's longer than Tuna, and you can ride it both ways. (Tuna's a oneway road to the ocean).
Taken with an Oregon Scientific helmet cam mounted to the SV's radiator.

That road doesn't give you much chance to look around and see the sights, does it?
Probably not a very good place to check your gas mileage, either!
Thanks for the clip. I enjoyed it immensely!

Great road!!! I love California roads, what a cool vid. I've never ridden that far south in Cali but it brings back many good memories. Thanx for sharing.

30 years ago, this was my favorite road. I haven't been there for years, and it looks like it gets more traffic now than it used to.
The last four and a half minutes are the best part of the ride. Too bad these guys are weenies.(found on youtube)

I haven't ridden GMR in about a year or so. No excuse really as I only live 15 mins away from the bottom of it. It was bloody hot around Malibu last weekend....
