I'm trying different angles with the camera lately, so what do
you think about this angle?

I vote no. It needs more road and less back. Also a sturdier mount.

Speed + No gear = Bad situation. Gear up. That view might be good for the Clay Aiken fanclub as they're likely familiar with that viewpoint, but I prefer to see more road instead of the back and shoulders of a manly man type person.:msn-wink:

+1 on gear up. Don't like the angle. I like seeing the speedometer personally but good on you for trying different angles(not clay aiken angles).

Hey, you can't blame me for trying. LOL. I did try to angle the camera
alittle off my back and alittle on the road. I just thought sometimes
if the camera is just on the road, you really can't appreciate
what the rider is doing in order to ride the way he/she is riding.
As for gear goes, I just got home from work in my t-shirt and shorts
and just wanted to go for a quick spin. If I'm on long distance rides
I usually gear up alittle better than that. :)

There was one video on here of an R1 railing through the forest roads with a rear-mounted yet forward -facing camera. Awesome! I'll look for the link. He's pretty well-known, just not to me.

in case you're confused: when your body hits the asphalt at speed it doesn't know that you 'just got home from work'.
why is it so hard for people?
are you lazy? wear your bloody gear.
ps-i don't like the camera angle, but it might be because you aren't wearing your gear.

true that home boy. i busted my ass a half mile from my house. it was through no fault of mine and i was riding like an old woman. at least compared to how i normally ride. i finally confessed to my parents, that i have been riding for the past two years. i never told them, because i did not want them to worry. they are both in the medical field and told me some stories that i did not want to hear. people skinning their peckers clean off, skinning their abdomen until their guts fall out. lots of lost feet and legs. road rash also claims victims due to infection.
i'm not your parents or family, but i am sure they would appreciate you wearing gear. i am in no position to give someone advice on being safe, but i know that i would have walked away unscathed if i had my gear on. instead i spent three weeks in hydrogen peroxide baths and trouble sleeping, not to mention the f-ed up shoulder.
not a huge fan of the angle either.
