I'm due for a new set of gloves. I have a $100 B-day check and will fork out a small amount of cashola. I'm looking at these two, and wondered if any of you have them and what you think about them. On the plus side I know what size I need, so internet ordering is fine with Alpinestars.

Can't afford the GP PRO gloves, plus those look like something you only need on a race track!

-thanks

I have the GP Pro gloves and really like them. For me they fit just right, offer a nice feel and look like they should be up to the job if ever needed. :)

Check out "Motorcycle Closeouts" website and search under their bargain page. I got very good gloves by Hein Gericke for half price.

Alpinestars is top kit, for sure. I'd spring for the GP Plus and it's extra features.

I've got a pair of the SP-1's & I love 'em - wouldn't hesitate to buy them again. I've not had the misfortune of testing them, but they seem like they'd hold um much better than the Cortech & Frank Thomas gloves I've owned (but not tested :)) in the past.

cool, thanks guys. I'm not in a rush, so I'm going to keep looking until I can find the GP, or GP plus's on sale for the Sp1 price or less ;) Found 1 set of gp plus's but they were out of my size/color :|

I don't think they come in size "pruned and wrinkly" :D
