I got bored today and decided that I wanted to spend this week perfecting the a camera mount for my digital camera so that I could record the road in my last major post. The camera has great quality but no sound, hope some chill Rammstein will be alright with you guys.

Ran to Lowes, grabbed some black duct tape, magnets, and some sponges. The final result is a little bouncy but I have already figured out how to resolve that issue. My question is does the camera need to be a smidge higher? I like the angle, but others might not.

Nothing high speed, nothing really dangerous. The straight where I pass the car is the infamous squirrel stand-off zone. He is in the ditch to the right. I flashed my lights at the car and everything, don't you old timers get into a tizzy. Earlier today I actually hit a bird in my stepfathers truck in the exact same location. I need to avoid it from now on, it's like they are trying to tell me something. ANYWAY, leave me a comment :P

I liked it! I agree with glie, up and up just a tad.
Either way, it had me breathing harder and wishing I was on the back.
I think I'd give it an A-. You are an outlier williamshuck, well done.

Kill the bounce, raise the camrea a bit, and maybe a cleaner windscreen?

Looks good though.
Some would warn you about displaying your speed on cam. The Popo can use it as evidence.

Nice first try, I'll be interested to see how it develops.

Thanks for the comments, I'm going to buff the windscreen, ride at a better time of day, and change the motion in the next one. I haven't decided how to add more height with stability and it has that "In-cockpit" feel to it. If the next video with the original list doesn't resolve my "meh-ness" I'll start working on a way to add height.

In relation to police. If they want to chase me down through youtube I would take it as a compliment. There are a BIZILLION bigger fish to fry than some kid on back mountain roads barely pushing it.

Next video is going to be of the same roads probably from a different direction.

I did a lil videoing this weekend it was ok.. So I decided to mount the camera on an old helmet. I took a piece of 1/4" aluminum epoxyed it to the top after tapping a couple of threads in the plate. Have yet to try it but it is solid as a rock!!:headbang:

Good first try! I did like the "in the seat" feeling it gave
in it's current position. It really was kinda like I was
riding.

Bad ass soundtrack. Agree with the screen and the light levels and bounce. But it is like I am riding the bike (almost). I actually prefer to have the sound of the bike rather than music.

Nice Vid man!!
I like the angle the cam is at and would prefer the roar of the induction with soundtrack in backround...
