..and say hello.
I bought a SV1000 as my first street bike and am LOVING it. I only wish someone had told me how much fun motorcycles are a long time ago.
I live in San Antonio, Texas with my family. I have had the bike since Febuary last year. South TExas is a great place to ride. Sometimes I'll drive in a direction till I get bored and then head back.
My wife bought me a tank bag and I travel back and forth between Corpus Christi and San Antonio (240 miles or 390 km).
Anyway.. I'm not to good at talking on the internet so I might get back to lurking.
Thanks for all the great tips and tweaking instructions. A special thanks for that "Flash girlie" thread. :niceone:
By the way sv1000.zyns.com is my new home page.

Welcome to the non lurkers club.
Hopefully the non lurkers will outway the lurkers soon. I need to hear what a 3 year olds view is of the SV as my son was 2 last week and is getting fed up of pushing his little bike with his feet. Any tips for him would be appreciated.
Cheers

Now if you had a big flat top and you put an arrestor hook on the SV, how fast can you get up to before the end of the deck and the catch wire?

I charter sailboats in the Gulf of Mexico out of Corpus Christi Texas. Comon down and go sailing.
Here is our website. It's not the best site but you get an idea of what I do.

I'm normaly screaming along at 5 to 10 miles an hour on my boats. Riding the SV feels like I'm in a rocketship and I'm loving it! :D
