Well, up here the insurance companies are starting to have a field day. I have 2 bikes and the rates just skyrocketed for no good reason. IMO they were already high enough..... but a $1500 increase for both bikes totalling $3500 dollars was just too much for me.

$2700 2002 Kawi ZX-6R
$800 1993 GS500e

So I called MANY insurance companies and the best I could find was the one associated with my professional group. They however won't insure the ZX-6R ..... but will insure and SV1000S for $790!!!! (w00t)

So I should be picking it up in a couple of days.

Here is a little action pic of me.... and another one of me on a friend's RC51.

I got the SV1S yesterday! Took the Kawi for a last putt around the block and then took the SV for a putt. I still can't get over the fact I rode 2 bikes in one day in February. It needs to warm a bit though!

Insurance is insane, I know what you mean dude.

Most bikes will kill you as far as insurance goes, but SV's are very cheap. My 650S is now a bit over 60 dollars per month (full coverage)!!! (w00t) now that's dirt cheap!

Yergie - can you elaborate on the rad cover you are talking about? The weather here is pretty crappy too..... but I had to. :D

I can't understand the logic behind our insurance prices.

You can find them crafted by one of our own, "Normsthename". They are awesome looking radiator and oil cooler grill covers that provide good protection and an awesome look. Someone please help him out with a link to Andy's site.
