I dont think "your local dealer told you" option will be very popular. That would be too wise for a local dealer to come out with.......theres more chance of them telling you that your sv is likely to develop a rattly clutch!!

Before I bought my SV I went in search of all the info I could get on the bike. Asking sales guys didn't help. Magazine's didn't help. Summonsing the dead didn't help much but I did meet a nice dead girl who likes sharp objects. :pokey:

Finally I did a yahoo search and found some lame 650 site that had a link to this site. AH.....at last I have all the info I could ever use and I have become an International Fugitive to boot. :ryan:

Just a way of determining how effective the web has been in helping our SV1000 community come together. There are obviously many more SV owners who are not registered - finding out the best way of getting to them is the market research.

Chewey has some fantastic stickers (high quality images coming soon) that advertise the site. Skidz has some fantastic clothing that advertises the site. We also have some fantastic posters and business cards for the site. If we establish how we all found out now any further recruitment activity can be measured over time. :niceone:

Google

It works so well, but I'd rather use another - I think it's not a good idea for so many people to use the same search engine. The one's that aren't used much will become extinct and we will be left with a handful of dominant players - PLC's that will be biased towards making money over giving people the best choice.

Or am I just over reacting, courtesy of Stella Artois?
