at the end when i pull up at the light that car that turns in front of me and rolls away turned out to be a cop....when he made the turn i was just holding my breath, waiting for his lights to go on.... :cold:
i was relieved that i didnt get pulled over then, but last night i got pulled over for speeding one street away from where the video was taken....:wallbash:

If you lived in the UK you'd seriously have to reword that post as you've incriminated yourself, there are internet police departments for speeders over here now, they catch you with your post, trace your IP and boom, your in the Motorcycle News the following week.
Also, if you had put it into 6th with out some mods she would have just sat there or slowed down slightly.
Nice to see a nightime video, but don't make an example of your self with the law, lifes to short.

did i forget to mention it was a closed straight road? i think it's a given that noone should do anything like this on public roads w traffic or potential for traffic!!!
and that's interesting about "internet police" in the UK. where can i learn more about it?

i don't see it the same as the others. i think the video may be a bad idea, especially if you do get popped. sucks to have video evidence, it makes it hard to deny. i am not going to say i haven't seen those digits, but of course that was on the "dyno":killingme:killingme

Speaking of growing up...
I have MANY times done speed runs in my cars and bikes. I make sure I am on a deserted road. Not all of us have tracks at our disposal. :weep:
The night thing and posting it up is a bit nuts but who am I to judge you?
suzukichic01

I was only referring to him boasting about it and making a video of it. I myself have done runs on deserted roads (and believe me they were deserted).
All I'm saying is, don't brag, don't record and be safe.

You've got balls!
Doing that on a deserted/closed road anywhere near me, in the dark, is near suicide.

Nobodys saying don't ride like that,we all like to ride fast, what we are saying is that by filming it and putting it on a web site for all to see may be asking for trouble.

Around here, anything resembling twisties, that isn't stuffed with traffic, is deer infested (=scarey). Even the straights suffer from the infestation.
(again, don't ask me how I know)
Bastards have taken a lot of the fun out of it for me.
I've even thought about giving up on the street, and focusing on the track for entertainment and thrills.
(along with killing as many woods rats as possible.....with other projectiles)

Down this way weve got some of the best riding roads ANYWHERE, plenty of twisties, good condition road (mostly anyway), and not a lot of long straight bits, not to mention 3 world class race tracks with in 500 miles - can't see why everbody doesn't live here :supsmiley:

I'd be down there in a NY minute!! Do the sheep do stupid things like the freaking woodrats?
I used to think that deer were only out early or late....but nope. They are out all the time! In full stride they run about 35 mph. I clocked one that was running right next to me, then I decided it be better to leave the bastard.

Nah, the only thing the sheep do around here is reside in my freezer waiting to be invited for dinner...:lol:
We don't have and wild deer near the roads, you have to go way up in the mountains to hunt them, and generally helicopters are used these days.
The occasional rabbit or possium will play dodge with you, but in 30 years of ridng I've never hit one on a bike, but I do tend to aim for them in a car...
I guess, like every country, NZ has it's draw backs, but they're not enough to make me ever think about moving anywhere else. It's still a young country with plenty of opportunity, and with only 4.5 million people, there's more than enough countryside to get lost in.

Just what you would expect from a twat like me!
If this was done on a private place, that is privatly owned by a company I deal with - would this be an issue?
PLease do not make throw away comments with out having all the facts........ I am lucky that I on occasions have access to a (nearly) two mile bit of smooth tarmac!
Its funny people like you are the ones that are the main reason I do not come on this site very often...... The Bandit web site was actually friendly, supportive and non judgemental....... All i see is people on this site having digs at each other....... What happened to freedom of choice and courage of conviction?
And it was 108mph!
Saying all that, nice bike what are those discs like?

Wow. All this coming from someone who wants to show off a little. Look, everyone in here that owns a bike has done something illegal. Posting a video online is just as good as hear say unless they can prove where you are, and that it is actually you. My buddy and I might have the same bike, but without a clear veiw of our plates, does not mean that if I post a video of him that they'll come after me because I uploaded it and actually have it hold in court. We all ride for different reasons, I'll never stunt but I always push for top speed. Don't judge......... We all have something in common, just make sure that whatever you do, don't put anyone else at risk.
