Well...I was dead set on an inline six supersport machine...but than I saw a friends TL.... the v-twin really attracted me so bought a leftover copper sv.. I got if for cost and with the suzuki bucks ...it turned out to be a great bargain.....it really is a nice bike...
Nice to find a place where others agree....there aren't many of my bike in the Albany NY area...

Yep, their loss is our gain. While I'm generally pretty miffed about the "cruiza" and race rep craze, at least it works in our favor in some ways.
Maybe someday everyone else will finally see the light.
Now begins the part where you start modding ... and modding ... and modding (a hidden, um, benefit of owning a naked bike)
Eliminating the rear fender and adding aural intrigue by way of gutted stock cans, race slip-ons or a 3/4 system are always a good modification starting place. Once you hear the SV through gutted cans or aftermarket race cans it'll really have its hooks into you ...

thanks guys....nice to be here......modding.....well ..I m fabricating a fender eliminator to deal with the aweful fender...and I d like louder pipes..IMO loud is good......Ive also looked at different seats and a few other mods...looking around the site now to get a feel for what has been done... :rofl:

Albany NY .....to be honest Ive seen one other sv1000 in my area....the entire area is polluted with 600 sport bikes....few to none of the sv's exist ....that Ive seen :no:
