Doing the usual ring round of insurance companies....DEVIT DA what a' holes.

The stupid questions came thick and fast but the best set had to be.......

Q; Do you have any medical conditions?

R; Yes, mild asthma but thats it.

Q; Are you connected to an oxygen tank.

R; pardon?

Q; Are you connected, you know, plugged in to an oxygen tank?

R; No, I did say mild asthma, all I use is a small pocket inhaler

Q; How have you modified the bike to deal with your condition?

R; For asthma?

Q; Look (said quite sharply) I need an answer or we will not cover you.

R; NO I have not attached an iron lung, oxygen bottle or anything at all to deal with my mild asthma.

Q; I'll have to refer this! (waited listening to green sleeves droning on for what seemed like ages).

Q; Are you currently in hospital?

R; NO I'M AT HOME PHONING YOU!

eventualy (and it took some time) they come back with a quote over £300 more than my renewal. :bye2: stunned

Devitt DA.......hmmm.... I bet the DA stands for dumb ass :killingme

I've had the same sort of thing with other companies, but not the the that extent. I know they have a list of things to ask, but you'd have thought that a bit of common sense wouldn't go a miss

I suppose in these 'computer generated' days, you have to be able to tick all the boxes

I was not impressed by Devitts either, they quoted me silly money to insure the SV. :surprise:
