I know when installing a K&N on a car, you can disconnect the negative battery terminal for at least 15 seconds after installing the K&N. Then reconnect and start the vehicle and the ECU will adjust immediately for the increased airflow. Obviously motorcycle ECUs are not as advanced yet, but wondering if anyone knows if this would be the case with the SV's ECU. Especially the USA version.
