I'm not sure what they're saying but Forklift truck driving looks like fun.

Driving a forklift is fun. The rear wheels do the steering, so you always feel like you're fishtailing. Loading and unloading trucks with a forklift is like blue-collar ballet. But carring a wide, HEAVY load WAY over your head so you can clear obstacles is scary as hell!

Sounds like you've been on a towmotor or two yourself. They can be a ball, spinning the front tires, whipping the ass around... But extremely dangerous. I have a few 3 ton lifts and a couple 10 ton lifts (Nissans and Cats) at work, and the danger isn't really the forklift, it's the operator. You can get in trouble fast, as evidenced in the video. Fortunately I've had none of my operators cause anything close to whats happening in the video.... :shock:

I drove one of those one day in an army warehouse with no training. After I got it over on two wheels going around a corner too fast, the thought of that thing falling over on to me slowed me down real quick.
