The seat cowl is available now (£75) but with no pictures other than the one on the Japanese web site.

All of the other bits of plastic are awaiting approval from Suzuki. They are produced by third-party suppliers and need to be 'signed-off' before they can be sold to Joe Public. No prices and no pictures again. And no word when the sign-off will occur - looks like they might be having problems.

The recently published Suzuki document which shows an image of the fairing lowers is a badly done computer generated image - so it looks like even Suzuki don't know what its going to look like!!

Oh, and the official accessories catalogue for 2003 will be available Q4, 2003 - nice one Suzuki!!

Looks like we will just have to hope the aftermarket people are quick to fill the void and come up with some good aftermarket add on's.

Did you see the SV1000's in last week's MCN?, they seem to have all the bit's and infact have emailed me a list of prices and estimated availabilty.

Wait a minute, here it is:

Yes, we are also happy with the way the SV1000 looks.

Firstly, the power commander. Even with a standard motorcycle there are
gains to be had, both with fuel economy and power delivery, (
performance). The key to it is the setting up of the mapping on the
Dyno. The costs involved are £284.00 for the unit and £105.75 for the
dyno setting up.

All of the parts you have seen on our bike are, or will be available
through our store. The undertrays come painted to the same as your bike
and sell for £160.00. We will have stock available in 2- 3 weeks.

The seat converter is £79.00 and in stock now. Brake lines £99.00 ( 1
week). Exhaust £599.00 ( 1-2 weeks)

If you require any further information, or wish to place an order,
please don't hesitate to contact me.
