In my favourites I have all the threads where Chewy's products have been discussed. I would like to use member's comments as testimonials on the Chewys-stuff (http://www.chewys-stuff.co.uk) website - does anyone have any objection to this?
I intend to copy and paste comments verbatim, along with a link to allow a PM to be sent to the contributing member, so no spam should result for you!
I'll wait until around the 8th Sept for anyone to object before going ahead. After that date I'll add them to the site and any individual objections can be passed to me on an ad-hoc basis when I'll remove that particular comment.
Thanks muchly all.:niceone:

You got my vote! Chewy has done all this for us, maybe with our positive feed back we can try and give something back:D

An excellent deal which was much appreciated and delivered a product that was worth more than it's cost implied. Friendly chap and polite emails - product was installed easily with good instructions. And even after the great comments and feedback on the SV1000 forum expectations were high, but as with any good product, dissapointment had no chance. Thanks. Recommended to all.

How did I miss this thread? A great idea BT :niceone: I've got Chewy's angle can kit and his stickers, very pleased with both. I had a concern about the stickers fading over time but so far they look as good as the day they were applied.

Received my order today. Very happy with the quality of the product. In my package: mirror spacers, tank risers, angle can mod, engine bolts, bike bolts, and a few stickers to boot. Everything looks top notch, and I can't wait to bolt it all on. Well worth the money spent. And, of course, I can't wait to order some can sliders in the future! Keep it up, Chewy!

Got the mirror spacers and I love them. Excellent quality. Showed them to the dealer, the guy was impressed. A few of the So. Cal SVers sat on my bike yesterday and were impressed so maybe Chewy will get some more orders from that. I have the can mod too. Just ordered the tank risers last night... :supsmiley

Just want to add to the chorus. I ordered Chewy's mirror spacers and tank raising kit, really nice design, the mirror spacers look cool and of course the bike is faster; a slipstreaming effect no doubt. Great service and easy as pie.
No kidding, really, putting in a K&N filter didn't do a whole lot, but after raising the tank, throttle response is boosted.
Fyi, my bike has that pesky surging problem (from about 2500-4000rpm). I've read the posts on surging, and need to do the Chewey TPS adjustment (http://www.sv1000.zyns.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9111&highlight=surging), if I can get the Size 25 Security Torx bit here in Japan:weeping: . That's a great post. Meanwhile, the TRE from Christy's smoothed out my low rpms some, and raising the tank (+the K&N) has helped (a clean, lubed chain also).
Thanks for your work and art:Punk: !

Sorry I posted a new thread - http://www.sv1000.zyns.com/forums/showthread.php?t=9782&highlight=chewy - it should have been here. Still, thanks again, I'm quite happy with the angle can kit and mirror spacers! :supsmiley
