Sorry, it's not nekkid ladies....but it's almost as good! For those of you that live in California, if you have not bookmarked this site http://www.pashnit.com/curve.htm do it now. This is probably THE best site for pointing out good roads and other goodies. Even if you don't live there, take a peek. Your vacation plans may change. :niceone:
If you have pics of your favorite road, please share. As I say, I want to see pictures...not words. As they say...a picture is worth a thousand words....Enjoy!

Road construction has never seemed so worth-while :niceone:

You are sooo right! They pay in CA, but they play with the best playground. Here's something also. If there is road construction and you are forced to wait through a section. Go to the front of the line and when they let you through....away you go! I'm telling you, this is Paradise! I'm going south next summer...and I can't wait :) California Dreaming..

Hate to say it chap but most of our roads are like that if you get off the 'freeway'
Maybe because we are old?

Well Shawn....I guess the OR Sport Bike Tourism Bureau is going to fire you now  All I can say is I have had some absolutely awesome rides in Oregon. Jimbo, if you have never been to the left coast for riding, just do it!! You really may just end up staying. And yes, the beer is good too. Lots of microbrews :)

RJ,
I've barely made it west of the Mississippi, let alone to the left coast... Wait a minute, I'm on the left coast of Florida, does that count. But in reality, I 've never been out west. All of my traveling has been confined to the eastern US and Canada. Ironic, since my wife lived for many years before we met in both Southern Cal (Malibu, Laguna Beach) and Northern Cal (Sacramento) areas. She says she has no desire to go back. I told her I wasn't asking her along... .
I want to get to California so I can see all the Flash Girlies...

Strange statement coming from a guy who readily admitted in another post he regularly clips along at 110-120 mph. You most do that out of state, huh Shawn....

You need a sign to tell you that that bend is worth taking at 80mph?
I don't get time to look at the clocks until the exit and even then the next bend is coming this bike is so fast.
At least your roads look wide & well cared for.

Just have to watch out for the lurking deer. Not much you can do when cornering at 80 and one of those BEASTS decides to go on holiday. Sphinkter control 101....

Hey rjk, is that those twins with the toothbrush action again? Now I can't view these pages in the office as that would be classified as offence material :o

It isn't the toothbrush twins Brian. Just known as the Kosovo Twins back in the late 90's. Now who in your office thinks they are offensive??

Wish I had signs like that near where I live. Our roads are so flat and straight you could calibrate your transit by them. The best roads In TX are in the Hillcountry which is 350 miles west. :(
Our corners are few and far between so you really have to haul ass in the straights to make them seem closer together. :D
