I am kinda lazy, I don't want to make one myself :pinch:
I heard the 650 can use the same TRE that 1000 use, 15k ohm??
but the connectors are different right? 3 posts vs 4.

so is there any plug and play ready to go TRE out there in the market can plug into 04 sV650s without any hassle? just a thought.

but then again, if it comes down to really expensive price, I might do it myself then.

My target range is no more than $28, like the one I bought for my sv1ks from Jeff Wallance - Pro-liberate :)

your inputs are appreicated :D

:offtopic: is the 2001 sv650 (origanal) engine the same as our SV650 03 model ?

Mmm, i know the 01 is carb. and the 03 is fuel injected.. so probably not.
and I emailed Jeff Wallance, and he said the only way to do it is either covert it to the 3 post connector, or tap the resistor into it

anyway, I guess that's my only choice

I know the 03's use a 15K resistor and they cost about 30 cents to make shrink-wrap and all. I've heard they were the same between the years and if I remember correctly my TL1000 needed a 6.8K resistor not sure about the SV1000's size.
