Off hand, sounds like a ground issue. Need a bit more info...

Does it blow when you just turn the key?
Can you start the bike?
Any other fuses blown?

Hey there, my very first post on sv-portal. I've been on here for a little while, just reading up and amazed with what has been put together here over the years. Thanks to all that have gone through the many heartaches and have posted not only the experience but also the resolutions.
Yesterday, I decided to flush and replace all the fluids from the bike. After finishing and wanting to take the bike for a quick spin, I put the key in and turn and absolutely nothing. WTF?!?!
Check all the usual suspects then went on-line. found the thread and its exactly the issue. A few months ago, I had a blip in the power while riding and thought nothing of it then it happened the next day. Happened a few more times in the next week, then it never happened again. The only other thing that had happened in the past week, was that the low beam in the headlights went, but the high beams worked fine...(sorry all oncoming traffic).
So finally all is dead.

Checked the green connector and couldn't even get it apart. Decided to replace all the connections with soldered bullet connectors. Connected everything back up and she fired up nicely.

As I had the bike in pieces, I decided to check the headlight connection. Yikes! Had trouble disconnecting the plug from there too. (gotta start working out again!!) Finally got it apart and check out the low beam connection.....fried too.

Any ideas as to what sort of amps should be flowing through there? Can't figure out why this would have went on me.

See pics attached.

Thanks again guys.
