why yes they do. It's called the Tomahawk. It has a viper V-10 engine and four count 'em four tires. Does it really qualify as a motorcycle then?

Okay Guys, I have just had an informative PM from SimonW, who has pointed out the following Legislation here in England and Wales (I am not sure if the same Laws apply in Scotland!)
Anyway to cut a long story short, I will also post up the reply I sent to him, so you can all make up your own minds!!!!! SIMONW : Wasnt sure quite how to approach this but in view of the fact you started this thread and bearing in mind what you do for a living I thought i should draw to your attention a little known bit of legislation which could have an impact on what you are proposing. The Auction Bidding Agreements Act 1927 makes it an offence which can be punished by up to 6 months in prison to collude with another or others to depress the price goods or property can make when sold at auction. As I dont think they had Ebay in 1927 they didn't specifically include it and it is couched in terms more suited to traditional auctions but I would hate to think of anybody on here exposing themselves to a risk they might not have done had they been aware of the full consequences. Personally i don't care as I don't use Ebay but I just thought you might want to be aware if you weren't already. As you obviously know ignorance of the law is no defence in court and i would hate to think of anybody on here getting in trouble if it can be avoided. My Reply : Simon, Many thanks for your email, I will post it up as an after thought onto the relevant thread. My main point was to stop people from outbidding each other, and yes, in the truer context of this Act I suppose it could be construed as an offence! However, if an agreement is made between two individuals not to bid against each other, I would like to see any Court of Law attempt to convict them of any wrongdoing - in essence one person would only need to say words to the effect of, 'I no longer wished to bid for the item!', or even 'Yes, I stopped bidding as the other person happened to be a friend of mine, therefore decided he could have it!' Then there is the other old saying,'Prove it!!!!' The fact that I lightheartedly put in the bit about boosting each others sales, would to me seem to be a far more prevalent offence, which could be construed as Attempting to Fraudulently boost the value of an Auction Item, but even so, I would like to see a conviction for this ever materialising! Thanks for your input none the less! Andy So there you have it. If you feel you will end up with a 6 month stretch at Her Majesty's Pleasure (for those of us in the UK) then don't use the list! If you feel you are merely doing each other a favour by stopping the end price of an item going unnessesarily high, then use it to your benefit....The decision my friends, is yours!!! Andy

Time to hand over the reigns of this one!
As I am now 14 days away from flying out of a quiet RAF base in deepest Oxfordshire, to head south for 6 months I need to hand this over to someone who can continue to add to list whilst I am away. I think numbers are slowing down now, but it will still need updating should anyone else wish to add their names. Hopefully Admin will be able to sort out the necessary and have PM's sent to the new 'owner' of the thread instead of me, so if anyone can take over the running, please email or PM Skidz to let him know that you are prepared to do it.
