I just talked with the bodyshop guy, I gave him the paint code listed above "YAV" as the Suzuki Manufacture Burning copper metallic, but somehow the paint supplier said it is an invalid paint code ???

Anyway, I am taking my seat crowl to the automotive paint supplier and have them to have some of those scope thingy take direct measurement of the paint and get a number out.

The YAV code is the manufacturers paint code.

Follow the link to the color-rite site and find the 2003 suzuki street bike paints - you can getthe color-rite code from there.

Or Clicky here - Suzuki YAV Burning Copper Metallic 4325

The 2005 red in the the US is YU7

The 2005 BLACK is YAY. It has blue metal flakes in it. They are hard to see unless you are in direct bright light.

Someone near me has a 2003 model finished in the current GSX-R paint scheme - i.e. blue & white. Had the pleasure of ogling it whilst I was filling up my then ZX6R...anyone got any ideas? It is awesome!

The filling station was the Shell at the junction of the A20 & A25 near Borough Green (Sevenoaks - Maidstone), Kent, England.
