POPHAM AIRFIELD meet is on!!! (MONTHLY MEET)

Well here we go! i have quite a few letters and replies for this monthly meet at Popham airfield so It will start on the second Sunday of March (the 14th) at 1 pm weather of course permitting, there is a clubhouse there so one can buy coffee or have a meal and there will be other bike clubs there as well and if there is enough interest we can go for a ride out as well. Popham for those not in the know is on the A303 about 2 miles before it joins the M3 there are a couple of petrol stations just opposite, to get there you have to take the exit for micheldever and then take the slip road as if you are going to join the a303 eastbound, 50 yards before you actually rejoin the A303 you will see the entrance, simply follow the tarmac to the very end and you will see the bikes . I hope you all make an effort and get your asses in the saddle

Now when you say airfield?? does that mean theres an airfield to ride on, or we would just meet there?

Cant believe it, the meet is the same weekend as a conference I have to attend in Cardiff and it dosnt finish untill Sunday lunchtime.

Will try and make it but depends on how long you all intend to stay at airfield before ride out.

Hope to see you all there

Cheers Rob

ok here is a map which should work also at the left is a button which will give you a picture which you can zoom in on and look at the clubhouse, so no excuses for getting lost

http://www.multimap.com/map/browse.c...g=&scale=25000
let me know if it doesnt work
