...The 38 barrel minigun is cool and all that, but how do you mount it on your bike? This just might be a more practical way of expressing yourself when cut off in traffic by a blind-blue haired old lady...

Those high rate of fire weapons are usefull on things like airplanes and ships. There is a anti missle defense system on naval ships that use radar to fire a machine gun.

I work in Devon Port Royal Dockyard in Plymouth where alot of the Navys frigates come in for refit work. In the CWEW (Combined Weapons Engineering Workshop) Factory they overhaul the Phalanx gun on a regular basis. On a six month stint in the factory (working on british rail power cars! :ranting: !) they did quite a bit of testing, and the rate at which those guns can move and fire is simple astounding! The noise it makes while fireing is SOOO SWWEEETTT! Obviously they dont use live rounds, just dummy bullets to make sure they are fed into the barrels ok.
Dont really know why i posted that, it was interesting for me to see, just thought i would let you guys know they are pretty sweet.
Cheers, Neilman
What tha link to the porn site LOL    (joke)
Those Phalanx are really cool but the coolest is a A-10 Thunderbolt firing it 30mm GAU-8 Avenger, It is so powerful than the aircraft losses speed when firing! unk: unk:

Love the A-10! Very easy aircraft to maintain and that baby can take a pounding and keep on fighting and flying. The A-10 in your pic is from Nellis AFB in Las Vegas. I've had the pleasure of being on the range in Germany and Nellis as A-10s and others did live fire runs. You can feel the concussion from those guns deep in your chest as they fire. unk:
You guys seem to know what your talking about, not being in the Military most of this goes over my head !!!! But recently I spent the weekend with the Royal Rifle Voulnteers in Longmoore, Hampshire. Did some live fireing with the SA80 and the GMPY, boy can they kick !!!!!! . Hats off to you guys in the Military. Must be fun sometimes with all those toys to play with !!!. Thats when your out doing your bit for country.

Check out Alliant Tech Systems site, it's like a military superstore.
Go to infantry weapons and click the XM29, this is slated to replace the aging M-16 for the US military. "no place to hide" indeed! :shifty:
