2003 SV650 Not running Properly Help needed

I have a 2003 SV650s with 22,000 miles that recently started running rough. It was running great until i tried to drive home one day and it wouldn't idle. I limped the bike home and could feel it was down on power. I have tested and both cylinders are firing (both headers were hot). My guess is that it is a fueling issue because now if i twist the throttle quickly it will cough and die. The bike will idle fine at first but will eventually will die(i have set the idle properly). I have cleaned the injectors and both seem to be working good. Then I moved to the fuel pump and have replaced the electric pump as well as cleaned both the internal and pre filter. To no avail the same symptoms are still present. Tomorrow I will change the plugs and see if that helps.

Any idea what could be the problem? is it fuel or electrical?

ps the bike is throwing no codes at all

I'm no expert, especially for the SV650, but a few things I'd try would be:

1. Fresh gas
2. Check the air filter
3. Check TPS
4. Check the spark plug wires to make absolutely sure there is copper wire visible by unscrewing the wire from the cap. If not, a few mm could probably be snipped off the wire to expose some copper wire.
5. Do a fuel flow test (again, not familiar with the SV650 but I bet that info would be in the shop manual).

I'm sure someone else that has experience with the SV650 will pop in eventually with more helpful tips.

Good luck!

Thanks for the help turned out to be a bad spark plug. I should've checked the easy stuff first.
