Change km in miles

Hi everyone, I have a SV1000S 2003 K3 and I go often in States and I would like to know how to change my odometer in miles.

I see many forum and they said to hold the adjust Button for 3 second and they change automaticely but they don't do.

Someone knows or they have a trick?.

Tanks

I did try it years ago and couldn't get it to work, probably operator error. Mines got a flat battery at the moment so can't give it another whirl.

I might try, if my frug addled brain can remember to do it....

It is possible that KM only market speedo's cant be altered, but, markets like North America can because of the cross-border travel opportunities....???

Maybe....

True true, Suzuki probably saved about 10c a cluster not making them backward compatible.
