With all the rain they get, its probably a "dip it in the water" beam.....

Sound like a "pull the switchblock apart and give the rocker switch a clean and lube" job....

One owner..... 300,000kms and counting... yes, that much..........

i cleaned the switch gear and it made no difference so i resorted to buying a second hand switch gear but still no dip beams. cant think what else it could be!!

I think you will have to trace the wireing. Have you got power to the switch? If so probably a break in wiring after that may be a connector. If no power check fuses, again trace wireing for possible breaks. You will need a meter ideally. Good luck.
