Cheap Bore Cameras

Someone mentioned a bore camera in another thread, so I thought it worth posting that I recently bought a cheap, USB bore camera from ebay for under $15 from Hong Kong. It's already been extremely useful for looking in those hard-to-get places (including inside my finch nests, in my aviary).

Just search for "USB Snake Camera" on ebay, and you'll find a variety of different length ones.

An example of one is below;

User will want a borescope/camera with integrated lighting to view inside engine cylinder via spark-plug hole, etc.

Indeed. These cheap ones have a ring of LED's around the camera lens.

It's been a few years since this topic was posted. I was wondering what everyone else is using and their opinions about them. I'm gonna invest in some hardcore bike tools (including a digital metric caliper - thanks Longhair!) and want to get a decent borescope.
