2003 Suzuki SV1000 - Fresno California - Naked custom

Year: 2003
Make: Suzuki
Model: SV1000
Miles:23840
Location: Fresno Ca
Asking Price: 4500 OBO

This is a very special SV1000. Many years of labor and love involved to bring what you see now. The focus on this bike has always been simplify and add lightness. A lot of the parts are truly custom and one of a kind. The bike has been flawlessly reliable and fun over my 6 years of ownership.
--------------------------------------------

Engine:
2006 SV1000 throttle bodies
Secondary throttle plates, linkages, motors all removed
Plate holes plugged and openings bored and smoothed
Air box eliminated, running UNI open pod filters with debris filter
STV simulator installed
Timing retard eliminator
Pair system delete
Power commander III
Stator magnets removed and re-bonded
Barnett clutchpack
cable clutch conversion (SV650 system)
Renthal 16T front sprocket
DID 530 chain (freshly maintained)
CX racing aluminum radiator
Caliber Customs 304 stainless exhaust
Delkevic muffler

Control:
2006 GSXR 600 front end:
Custom CNC upper tripple clamp retaining oem key function
Tokiko calipers
GSXR 1000 steering dampner
EBC pads
Galfer rotors
Galfer stainless brake lines
Brembo RCS19 master cyinder
Woodcraft clip ons
Renthal diamond grips
Hammergrip tank grip pads
R6 throttle tube
R6 clutch assembly
GSXR1000 rear wheel ( custom machined fitment)
Galfer custom machined lightweight rear brake rotor
Bridgestone Q3 carbon fiber belt tires

Body and accessories:
Delkevic headlight
LED bulb
Carbon fiber Suzuki accessory headlight brackets
Carbon fiber front fender
Carbon fiber side cover -passenger side was lost
Tail tidy
2005 tail section and 2005 seat
LED license plate light frame
Rizoma LED turn signals
GSXR 600 kickstand
DND swingarm spools
frame sliders
Painted Subaru Satin white pearl

Negatives:
The previous owner dropped the bike, it spooked him and its why he sold it to me. The rear brake lever is slightly bent from that incident and does work, but does require more effort. Never bothered me. The paint is not good, looks great at a distance but has multiple runs from shooting in the dark, and some area's that are not covered properly. The tail tidy was over cut from the previous owner, comes with a new one not installed.

Positives:
This bike is an absolute riot. It makes anyone who rides it smile. Its shed it weight down to 418 lbs full of fuel per sacramento raceway's scales. Will run high 10's in the 1/4 and a boat load of fun in the twisties. The noise from the throttle bodies with out the airbox is intoxicating.

For my full asking price it will come with an ocean of spare parts, including airboxes, side covers, 2003 plastics, rear seat and side pegs, front and rear pitbull stands, laptop for tuning with multiple tune maps, air filter maintenance kit, chain maintenance kit, battery tender, and anything else i can find for it

How has the loss of the Secondaries and their motor been allowed for ?
Meaning, normally, the Sec Throttle Pos Sensor is being moved by that and
feeds back info to the ECU....

D'Eccosse made (maybe still makes, not sure) an STV eliminator unit that tricks the bike into thinking the STV setup is still installed

nice looking bike. Is the frame paint or powdercoat?

I bought the last batch from him and have 2 left I think. He only wants to build in batches of 10 I believe. There is so little desire for these now, I doubt you could get enough people together for him to build another batch.
