Hi mate. Compared to its heyday, this forum is pretty sad. Not too many old members visit so I'm glad you popped in. Still have your SV1000?

I'm still here as well. I'll leave when Japan once again makes a naked V twin sport bike. Until then I'll be keeping my 2003 SV with ~52,000 miles.

Mate, you gunna be here a loooong time....really can't see that happening.....too much investment needed in clean air to get a V twin up again.....
The current DL is only just scrapping through, if they ask another 5-10 hp from it the emissions will tip over the edge.

One owner..... 313,000kms and counting...

2003 Copper SV1000S
Repainted Ford PE (Petroleum Mica)
Yoshi 2:1 collectors and Arrow titanium can...

I'm not to sure about that. KTM claims 180 hp from the Superduke and it still passes European emissions standards.

I concur.....i just mean Suzuki, and prob the other Jappers..... Suzuki is a small factory really, and the cost/benefit....well...
