No its not any consolation! :-( ........weather looks like it'll be pretty good now which is bloody annoying having changed all my plans on the basis of what the Met were saying just 24 hours ago!
Can't change plans again so I'm stuck missing this one :-(

Have a great day everyone.........and be safe! ;-)

The thing about speed is that you can't catch the quick riders to ask them how they got so fast!

You missed it? ERROR!!

An excellent days riding on suburb roads in good company. The weather threatened slightly, but only for about five minutes. No nasties and no plod. (except our favourite one). Hayabusas are becoming as common as muck nowadays, aren't they. Three on this run. Good job Retro couldn't make it or we would have to rename.

Pity about DC, came all the way down and then had to call it off. Did you get home OK?

Thanks yet again Skidz. Another 15 runs? See you in September.

Every time I start thinking the world is all bad, then I start to think there's people out there having fun on motorcycles, then it makes me take another look.

Great day again - no rain (missed a bit on the rideout, one valley a bit damp that's all) Ride home was against the wind, which was a bit of a struggle but a good crowd once again (and as always).

Sorry I couldn't join the fun especially as I'd made it to the start! Couldn't really risk the bike misbehaving on the way round, wouldn't want the engine to cut out unexpectedly somewhere like Porlock!

Called in at JHS on the way home, its going back there next week for some more diagnostics, James thinks it may be the front coil this time. I hope so as I want my bike back to full health again. It got me home OK though, just using a lot of fuel and laying a trail of unburnt fuel in my wake!

Thanks to the calls and messages from you guys. I'm pleased you all had a good day out and that the weather was kind (yet again!).

See you in September (will it be the Saturday or Sunday?), I hope also to make it to some of the National Meet and to Peter Roses' rideout if the bike is fully sorted by then

You know you're on the absolute limit when you go round a corner with everything scraping and you haven't slid off

Muchas Gracias Thanks guys. Much appreciated as always.

I notice fewer SVs in the lineup this year. Wish I could go to the UK for a ride, but traveling to the other side of the planet is not cheap
