Thanks

Thank you to all you lot for turning up (a) in memory of our good friend Warren "Skidz" Marks and (b) to have an excellent day rattling around our favourite West Country roads. The weather could not have been better and the roads were on good shape. Ian complained of a couple of "wiggles" but when you consider the stress his tyres are under that is not surprising.

You were as generous as ever and I have passed on the proceeds of the collection, 70.56 to Warren's favourite charity, Jeremiah's Journey.

Thanks again, Dave

No tight bastards riding with us, John. Somebody, I forget who, Just emptied their pockets, which came to WELL in excess of 56p.

Every time I start thinking the world is all bad, then I start to think there's people out there having fun on motorcycles, then it makes me take another look.

The thing about speed is that you can't catch the quick riders to ask them how they got so fast!

Videos anyone?

I have finally finished fooling about with the stuff I recorded on the rideout. I got the whole trip on the front camera and all except the last 10 miles on the rear.

The definition on the front camera is better than the rear, but that meant I had to use more compression to get it onto an 8.5GB DVD. The rear camera is to an earlier spec so the definition suffers anyway. But nevertheless the effect is still pretty good played on a PC or a DVD player.

If you send me a stamped, self addressed DVD mailing envelope I should be able to return them within a week. Let me know if you want front, rear or both.

If you spent any time leading or following me on the rideout, you're famous already.

Address is:
