Help needed - indicator constant live

Just got my bike out after it being parked up over the winter. (More lack of time than poor weather)

Battery was low but it started fine. On startup there was an issue with all 4 indicators illuminated constant. As the battery recharged they went out except the rear right which now appears to have a constant live.

I figured them being on was just due to low battery as this had happened when last started and run for a while, a couple of months back.

The issue may have been there at that time as the rear indicators were removed after a tail tidy issue I was sorting before the winter and I only replaced them today. The indicators are new aftermarket mini arrows (non led) and are working fine in other positions. Particularly weird is that its only the rear right and not the front....

Are there any obvious or known electrical issues that would cause this?

Also, been browsing this place intermittently for years but this is my first post. So Hi there! Bike is a k3 sv1000s which I've owned for many years.

Welcome firstly....

Take your seat off and locate the fuse box, and the flasher relay plug in there....
Pull it out and give the contacts on it, and the socket a good wash with contact or brake clean.... then a light dose of WD40 or similar.....

Sort of sounds like some crud has got in and bridging a contact.....

I might no' be a smart man Jenny....but i can pain' ma copper colored bike a dif'ren color.....

I've had the seat off and tried cleaning terminals. (No corrosion or oxidizing present but still got a clean)

Am I not correct to think that if the relay was faulty then both front and rear would be illuminated?

Check the wattage of the bulbs - may seem obv. - but I've had issues in the past. Failing that rig the old indicators back up - should tell you if the replacements are the cause or the problem is elsewhere.
