Thumbs down Generator Rotor Problems

Trying to change my rotor because the magnets disintegrated and I've got the bolt out and the M20X1.5 puller installed and I hit it with the impact wrench every half hour or so and its been installed for 2 nights and still won't pop off. Anyone have any suggestions? I really don't wanna put this on a trailer and take it to the dealer. I've even vicegripped some ratchet straps onto the rotor and left it overnight and still nothing.

Tap the head of the removal bolt with a hammer occasionally. Keep the pressure on it, just tap squarely onto the head. Don't deform it. Or maybe you will, as that is what it takes sometimes. Heat on the rotor behind the removal bolt won't hurt either.

They can be an absolute nightmare to get off sometimes.

Nice, some gentle persuasion!

A big plastic dead-blow hammer worked for me, and might be a better first option for anyone reading this and looking for something to try.
