Okay, I tore into my bike this evening and removed the airbox and got to the green connector on my 2005 SV1000S. Was easier to get to than I thought it would be. And yup, it's the same damn one Suzuki used on the '03 models (pic 1 below). Mine looked clean and I've got about 10,000 miles on my SV now; very little of it in the wet.

I know I'll probably get for this, but I thought I'd try MASSIVE quantities of dielectric grease in the connector (pic 2 below). As an aside, all of my Speed Triple's connectors are apparently packed like the connector in pic 2. But if I suddenly disappear from the site, you'll know it didn't work.
