Well,in fact i dont know what to begin with....
As we were driving away from home direction Cirencester we made some thoughts on how i would be....Would it be great?Would we be accepted? Will we manage to get there in one piece?
So many Q's and waiting for some answers....
We left off while it was raining cats and dogs.I know we were thinking :" sjeez..if this an omen, what will be next then????"
Arriving at Dover and been throwing in traffic that drives left hand wasnt exactly what i needed after being soaked allmost four hours in a row allready.
But once we got on route we saw sun rising at Maidstone.Aha!!!!!There is the sun...F$ck that rainy omen!!!!
After some 420 kms we finally arrived in Cirencester. No more feeling in the legs, butt or knees...As the Little Chef was the first thing we saw, we decided to get a coffee and smoke a fag.Seconds later there was another SV mate turning up.For us more or less the confirmation that we were on the good spot.It was Pete with is awsome dragbike!
The frist UK member we saw... And as we knew eachother since years he came up to us to join us for some coffee.Nice, nice....We were assured we did hit some good guys here!!!He even helped us out on the hotel arrangement when calling around to sort things out.
And b4 we could even drink our coffee, a swarm of SV's arrived at the Travel Lodge.
Bringing along the hotel overnighters. All of them said us hello as we were family...A better arrival we couldnt have imagined.
The same evening we went to camping site to meet up with the camping overnighters.Same thing over there....took us as we were family.
Well, the whole weekend was like a dream for us guys and girlie!!!!
We would like to thank all of you for giving us such a great weekend. This is something we will allways remember!!!!!!
And....you can count on us for the next annual UK meet!!!!!!!
Many thx again!!!!!!
Mario & Ingrid.
