Hello guys I need help my 2004 SV1000 all of a sudden for the last week she doesn't want to go past 50km/H please I need help this bike is confusing me I normally work on my own bikes but normally on 4 cylinder bikes not V-Twins

What is the bike doing? Is it cutting out? will it start and idle correctly? I would suspect its a fuel issue. Google fuel pump problems and testing. Any rust in the tank?

It definitely sounds like a fuel delivery issue. Do a non pressurized flow test and the test the pressure while running.
