Hello,

There is ofcourse plenty of information on here regarding the GSXR fork swap.

Though my question is regarding the individual models 600/750/1000
regardless of age.

Is the 1000 better then the 750 and 600 ? Since the 1000 is the $$ bike

I realize the fork spring weights are different but other then that are there any quality differences?

I have found a set of 2007 GSXR forks and an considering getting them for a swap on my 2007 Sv1000, the spring weight is ideal for my body weight. But i have failed to find anyone doing a GSXR swap on the Sv1000, i see lots of 750 and 1000s though.

Again my question/concern is the GSXR 600 for a lesser fork?

Thanks.

600 and 750 forks externally are identical, and are made by Showa. 1000 forks are all KYB.
Personally, I prefer the Showa forks and have two sets. They were both stock K6 750 forks to begin with, and I put stock 600 internals in one, and completely reworked the other.

Thanks so much for the reply,

So you wouldn't have any reservations of putting a 2007 gsxr 600 fork on.
Are there any internal differences other then spring weights that woudl make the 600 inferior to the 750 / 1000 versions.

As the ones iv found are a pretty good deal. Though if the 750 or 1000 versions ( k6 + as they are longer ) are any better or ideal i dont mind waiting.

Thanks !

Valving and spring rate are the only difference between 600 & 750 forks.
