Hi to all,

greetings from Slovenia, tiny country next to Italy, Austria, Hungary and Croatia.
This is what I bought a month ago. I love it (so far) and I already read a lot on this forum, so why not to join and introduce myself. :D

Welcome to you all! Considering how poorly I woud communicate in Dutch, French or Slovenian, I think you are all doing very well. This is a very informative and entertaining site! :)
I'm new here, not new to SV's as I had a new SV650S back in 2009, a new V-strom 650 XT in 2019, access to a V-storm 1000 XT around the same time, and recently picked up a 2003 SV1000S which as I've now realised is a bit dodgy should we say?

Be sure to check out the usual fix things that these things need done, magnets, green connector and a couple of other things........there is lots of info threads
Hey there, I'm joining here as I am now the owner of an 03 N model, the previous owner bodgied many things on the bike and it has issues aplenty but I'm slowly addressing them all. I received my SV1000N as a Christmas gift from my wife after I very nearly lost my right arm (and my life) in an accident on my third (and final) Bandit. After owning big Bandits, 3 in total, over nearly 30 years and thinking I may never ride again my wife wanted to surprise me with this gift after I lamented that I test rode the SV1K in 2003 and that I thought it was a great bike when new, however the one she purchased aint so good. So here I am, ready to learn how to fix this 20yo unit. Thank you good people for this awesome resource
