As mentioned in the title my bike stalls for a couple seconds or less when the engine goes over 6k rpm for more than a couple of seconds. The higher the engine speed the longer it takes to start back up. The weird thing is the tach also drops to 0 even though the engine is still turning just not firing.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Firstly, welcome to the site...

Do you have a dealer mode switch to see if you have any obvious fault codes ?

Although it sounds a little different to what som eof us have encountered, the sidestand switch can play up over 5.5 to 6k rpm...... causes horrid faultering......
Disconnecting it under the tank and bridging the bike side of the connection is the test, adn if you like, permanent solve for that....

Do you have a TRE fitted ? Has it failed? Remove it as a test.

But, do each thing individually and test, not all at once, so you have a clue what atuall sorted it, or helps to improve it for further diagnosis
